I looked for a long time to find a vet and team that I trusted with my dogs and finally found it at Copper Point veterinary hospital! You can tell that the entire team loves animals as soon as you’re greeted in reception. The clinic staff works quickly to get my dogs weighed and in a room, which is really appreciated. (Dr Privette and team will always make accommodations to see multiple animals at once for your convenience.) On a recent annual visit for both of my dogs I found out that most of the team is planning on formal animal training (vet tech, veterinarian, etc) which further explains their care and interest in the animals. I’ve always been so impressed by the depth of knowledge everyone on the entire team has about animals. Dr Privette is very good at reading the animals and always puts my nervous dogs at ease. The office has always provided options and cost breakdowns for me before we make any treatment decisions, which I also appreciate. I have never felt that a lab or treatment was recommended that wasn’t necessary. When I’ve had to had ‘bigger’ procedures for my animals, I knew they were in good hands with the clinic teams at Copper Point. Recently, one of my dogs had to have surgery to remove a mass. I was given a very accurate and fair quote the week prior. The day of, I got clear communication about the surgery schedule and when to expect a call. I got a call from Dr Privette with an update and very clear pick up and care instructions. They also wrote all this out very clearly so I never felt like I didn’t know what to do after surgery. The team followed up the next day and promptly refilled a medicine I thought I needed more of to get my dog through the weekend. I can not say enough good things about this office, the team and the care they have provided for my dogs over the last few years!

Unbelievable experience. From the time I came rushing in the door because our pet had severe diarrhea on the way over to the moment Dr. Privette returned in the room to reassure us of the medications we were to take prior to leaving. I have had pets for 20 years, I am 52, and I have never had such a thorough exam of any of my pets or conversation regarding the same. The care, the knowledge from the front of the office to the back; over the top. We were referred due to a possible CCL tear for our Boston Terrier. Dr. Privette has over 30 years of knowledge and his front desk has been with him since the beginning and it shows. I will never go anywhere else unless I move and I may travel after that. 10/10 highly recommend.

Copper Point is a wonderful vet clinic and Dr. Privette is an incredible vet! I have been taking my pets to him for 14 years. We followed him from his previous clinic. He always takes time to talk to and listen to the owner about concerns. Dr. Privette truly cares about the animals and their well being. We recently had our 14 yr old dog dislocate a hip while I was out of town. My husband had taken her to an emergency vet, who without empathy, told him she would need to have surgery or be put down, but they couldn’t do the surgery there so we should talk to our vet in the morning if he didn’t want to put her down right then. Distraught I called Copper Point in the morning and without hesitation they told us to bring her in and they would work her in. They had received and looked over the X-rays already taken. Dr. Privette told my husband him and his team should be able to get it back in without surgery. He also took the time to go over the X-rays and explain which way her hip dislocated and what that meant. He took the time to talk it through and explain what it all meant and the risks that still existed. When he called with the update we both finally exhaled for the first time in 24hrs. He had been able to put it back in place and went through the process with us. When it came to her treatment afterward his whole team was supportive and helpful to her and us. They answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. There is no Vet Clinic and team that I trust more with my pets. I drive over an hour to go to this clinic because I know the care they provide is unrivaled

These people care about your pets. Of course, they need to make a living, but they don't push unnecessary services on you. They even helped with my son's dog when he was visiting from out of town and stayed late doing so.

It is the first time that I feel so comfortable in a veterinary clinic. I have 4 dogs that are my life, and Cooper Point Veterinary is a clinic that understands this and treats your pets as if they were family. A few days ago, I was taking my pug Simona to her appointment. Simona let go of her harness and ran towards the avenue. My soul left my body. I thought I was going to lose her or that she could get hit by a car. But thanks to the lady at the reception, Ms. Valerie and Ms. Meghan and Ms. Fallon, no accidents occurred. Without thinking twice, they helped me capture Simona. They cared about my emotional state, offered me water, support, and gave me time alone to calm down. I will always be in debt. Those three ladies were amazing. It is a clinic that always goes the extra mile and loves what they do. They are always in good mood and willing to accommodate you even at the last minute, because they understand that our pets are an important part of our family. I have never had such great confidence in a clinic. My pets always receive first-class treatment, and I would like everyone to have the same experience as me and my pets. Dr. Privette is attentive, honest, kind, extremely knowledgeable and truly cares about each pet that walks through his doors. I drive over an hour just to see him he has always been very good with my animals never done anything that was not authorized or I didn’t need done I wouldn’t change vets for the world, they are a great veterinary hospital and I will use them as long as I have animals

Although we weren’t clients long, everyone at the Copper Point Vet Clinic treated us and our 3 dogs with excellent care. They know their business and treated our animals in a caring and kind manner. They always made time for us to come in when we needed to. The only reason we are no longer clients is because we have moved out of state. I do recommend Copper Point Clinic to anyone with a pet.

When we got a new dog almost two years ago i did not want to go to our old vet after a bit of searching i found this very vet and am so glad that i did. The doctor is so good with our nervous traveler, sits on the floor with him and takes his time. Both of the vets here are really good and approachable . I read a negative review and while i don't know what happened as I wasn't there, I find it hard to believe that someone was treated that badly by someone in this office. I have never seen an unhappy person leave here.

I have been taking different dogs of mine to vets for over 20 years and many different vets at that. Hands down this veterinary hospital and veterinarian are who you want to take care of your animal in its most critical or non-critical moments. The doctor is beyond wise and knows his field better than any vet I have ever dealt with. He was able to diagnose my prior senior pitbull’s medical condition when no other vet could or would, he extended his life and made his final months on earth comfortable and peaceful. He truly loves animals and it shows. Now with my new mixed Black mouth cur I know no matter what he will have the best care as he currently does. I would drive hours to see this vet because that is how good he is at what he does, straight shooter and does all possible to care for your animals.

I have taken a while to write this review because I don’t like to jump to conclusions out of just one interaction. Feral cat patients are a touchy subject in many vet hospitals due to liability, and there was a very feral one In my neighborhood that was not doing well; it was older and injured. I called Copper Point vet To see if they would accept it as a patient for an exam and I knew most likely it would end up as a possible euthanasia. I had just trapped it and when I called, they understood the urgency of the situation and my need of coming in right away. Even though they were booked, they told me to come right in. As soon as I walked in, I explained the cat had been hanging around for a few weeks and was having trouble eating and was not doing well and I wanted to get it sedated for an exam. The doctor was extremely compassionate with this cat. He was very gentle with her and made recommendations to not stress her out while getting her sedated. Her injury was not treatable because of her being a feral cat so I decided to euthanize her. The compassion with which both her and I were treated was impressive. Every visit after that has been just as compassionate, regardless of the pet or the situation. The entire staff is kind, gentle, and they make recommendations based on my pets’ best interest. They take the time to educate me regarding diagnostics and treatments as needed and you can tell they truly love animals and what they do. I feel very comfortable leaving my pets in their hands and knowing it’s going to be treated with care and compassion. I am truly fortunate to have such experienced and compassionate people on my speed dial!

I brought my cat in with a ear hematoma. The vet did an excellent job on the surgery. They are very caring and very professional. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I do rescues and have been to a number of vet clinics in the past 2 years after my vet passed. I was recommended Copper Point Veterinary Hosp. I could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was kind personable and approachable. The care they take with animals is beyond words. They will go over everything a step at a time so there is no confusion. Please do not give the no pay dasher with the 1 star cat review a single star review, any credence as the scenario does not fit. I was asked and confirmed for everything that was done with my pets multiple times as well as signing the documents stating the same. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

The decision to have to put your pet down is a difficult, stressful, emotional situation. Unfortunately that day came for our family yesterday. My husband stayed home with our other fur babies, due to he was sick. The task was one I had to do on my own. Our baby boy 🐶Charlie Brown could no longer see or breathe due to his heart was enlarged to the point he couldn't breathe. Dr. Privette and his staff not only arose to the situation, they exceeded my expectations! This experience is one no pet parent wishes to have to ever experience! Working in the pet industry professionally makes it hard to find people you trust with your own pets. My first visit I brought my Standard Poodle with an ear infection who is very nervous of new people. Dr. Privette was extremely patient and kind and because of that she was eventually pretty comfortable with him. After that I brought my Australian Shepherd because she stopped eating. It ended up being leukemia and sadly we lost her a couple weeks ago. Through the whole process Dr. Privette was so understanding and helpful. I called many times with questions and concerns and was always called back the same day. She was my first dog I got as an adult and she was with me for 10 years. They always treated us with kindness and understanding up until the end. Since moving here to open my grooming business four years ago I have tried many vets in the area and have been unimpressed with all of them. I finally found a vet I can trust with my own pets. Im so happy to have found Copper Point and will definitely be recommending my clients and staff to bring their pets here.

Our first time going here with a new scared rescue. I anticipated spending our savings at the vet but that was not the case. Every diagnostic wasn't thrown down our throats just the necessary to treat her. Even for joint supplements the prices compared to Amazon. I was a super nervous pet mom bc I didnt want my fearful girl to get a bad rep on her first vet experience, but with their patience the appt went better than I could have prepared for.

I must say it was a positive experience for us 💁‍♂️💁‍♀️ and our boy Charlie Brown. 🐶 The vet and staff 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ were very friendly and helpful with answering our questions. I am so glad I brought my puppy here. The staff were all super welcoming and caring. Dr.Privette was amazing. Loved his friendly demeanor and how much he cared to make my baby better. Its only been 24 hours and my boy is doing so much better wagging his tail and eating. I will definitely be back for all my vet needs and highly recommend anyone reading this to go here. Also, I was expecting to pay hundreds of dollars and was happily surprised that it was a reasonable cost for what we were dealing with.

I’ve been going to see Dr. Privette for over 15 years, since I first moved to Orlando. He’s taken great, careful care of my three dogs over the years, from routine care to early arthritis, a torn knee ligament, cancer, and allergies, to name a few. Brynne can’t wait to see him as he always has treats to reward her for being a good patient. When our dogs’ needs have required special care, Dr. Privette talked with us honestly about our options and communicated with different specialists to continue their care. And I say “us” because he even showed great patience with my often difficult to deal with ex-husband (five stars just for that!) Jokes aside, there’s no vet I’d recommend more!

I have yet to personally visit Copper Point Veterinarian, but my mother has and she loves it! Dr. Privette and his staff saved my doggie sister's life. She, Tinkerbell, is a 7lb. 12 yr. old female Chihuahua with Addison's Disease. Her previous veterinarian at Econ River Veterinarian, would not even consider spaying her because of her disease. Dr. Privette thankfully had experience with this specific medical condition and spayed her with ease. While she was anesthetized, he also removed 2 concerning masses near her mammary glands, which were caught in time before they spread, removed a bad rear tooth, and cleaned & polished all her other teeth. The entire procedure took about an hour and a half, and Tink got to come home the same day! She's doing fantastic all thanks to Dr. Privette & his amazing team at Copper Point Veterinarian. I will be taking my pets to their office for anything they need. Also, his prices are more than fair and they offer military discounts!

This place is AMAZING!! If you want to take your pet to a vet where they treat your fur baby like their own, GO HERE! I first called this place when I had to put my 14 year old beagle down. They were so compassionate and sincere. My son brings his German Shepard here now. I stop by to pick up his heart worm and flea treatments and I'm always impressed on how friendly they are.

We’ve had nothing but great experiences at Copper Point.

I've used Dr. Privette as my vet for several years now and I've had a number of experiences that prompted me to write this review (finally!) My initial positive feelings about him as a vet were due to his manner, in particular with my shy dog Hazel. The first time he met her, he sat down on the floor and nonchalantly gave her treats while discussing her history with me. In one visit, he managed to convince her that he was an ok guy and she has never been fearful with him since, which is very impressive! Dr. Privette has a calm and relaxed demeanor in general and doesn't get riled up about much. He's focused and I've found him to be conservative in his treatments (ie he is not a vet that is going to recommend thousands of dollars in treatments or diagnostics unless it's warranted). Along those same lines, he has really earned my trust over the years as he has shown an incredibly strong intuition as to when something is wrong and when it's not. I've had several experiences where he has caught something just based on my verbal description of my dogs' behavior, one of which ended up being a cancerous tumor that had not been noted by me prior (and I'm pretty neurotic!). He's frequently returning calls after hours and has been there for me numerous times when I've had urgent situations or even just questions. Dr. Privette is also accepting of the fact that I use holistic medicine also and works in tandem with my holistic vet without issue. In addition, his new/current facility is fantastic. His staff is top notch - I just love each and every one of them! The office staff makes you feel like family, and they are always promoting rescue which I love. The techs have all been competent and kind and I just can't say enough about the whole operation. I'm pretty particular about my animals' care and can be hard to impress and he's done it! This clinic checks all the boxes, and I highly recommend them.

Dr Privette and the entire staff at Copper Point are top-notch!! They helped us when our beloved dog, Nelson, broke his leg from cancer. Other doctors wanted us to pay $10K+ to amputate his leg + chemo or put him down. Dr P's prices are so reasonable plus Dr P did a fantastic job (plastic surgery quality) on the leg amputation and post-op follow-up. They respond to emails as well and have been so helpful to us on this new journey with Nelson. Everyone is no nice there!! I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going there for the highest quality care at a reasonable cost. He will be our vet for life!!

Dr. Privette has cared for our four-legged family members since 2005. He has been with us through all of the routine visits and not so routine visits (he successfully repaired our chihuahua's leg after it was broken - you would have never known it was broken) and the visits that remind you that the time with your beloved family member is coming to an end. He operates with the highest level of compassion, as does all of his staff. We are so thankful to have found Dr. Privette all those years ago and look forward to many more!

The best! My chihuahua was very sick and my normal vet couldn't see her and we were turned away by several others. I walked into their vet on a whim and they were so kind and got Fiona right in even though she was a new patient. They were so amazing with her and me too! I will be taking all my dogs to them for now on!

Not my regular vet but they have been open for two of my animals during emergency situations. Not an emergency vet but I got lucky with appointment times. Had a cat with a puncture hole in her ear and she was seen within the day and send home with meds. The staff are incredibly nice and the vet will explain anything you need in detail. Copper Point Vet Hospital is owned and operated by true lovers of animals. They are deeply sympathetic and are willing to really listen and help with your needs. I wished they were closer to my hometown but they did a stellar job helping me with a small emergency while I was down in Orlando visiting family. Of all the vets I have had to deal with while working to address my dog's chronic GI issues, they have been the most pleasant to deal with. I would highly recommend choosing this facility for your general vet needs.

Dr. Privette and his staff are, by far, the most competent and compassionate veterinarian organization I've dealt with - ever. He is approachable and completely down to earth with both the owner and furry family member. My dog Luna was in so much pain when I got home from work I called her vet and they didn’t have time for her to come in. I called copper point and they took her in without even being a client. Everyone of the staff was super friendly and treated my dog like their own. They even stayed late to treat her. I will never go anywhere else and I wish I could give copper point more than 5 stars. I can't being to tell you how pleased we are with Dr Privette, Linda ,and staff. We are first time snow birds and our dog(Ace) became very ill from my suspension of poisoning from a treat he had eaten. Copper Point vet hospital is no doubt the most compassionate clinic we have ever encountered. Ace is still recuperating but it's a slow process after an illness like this. Thank you Copper Point!

Amazing experience today! I called about getting a nail trim for my cat and not only did they get me in same day, they also trimmed the nails on my two Guinea pigs, which was so awesome. This is definitely going to be my new vet. Thank you guys for taking such good care of my Guinevere and my piggies! Gwynnie and the boys say thank you too! :)

Dr Privette is a wonderful and caring vet. He was our vet at a different facility. We were sad that he moved, but found that he opened his own veterinary practice. I highly recommend him to take care of your pet.

Dr Privette is the best. All of my family's animals adore him and he takes such good care of them. Everyone at Copper point is wonderful.

Dr. Privette is an amazing veterinarian with such a heart for the health and well-being of all animals. He is abundantly knowledgeable and makes sure pet owners and pets go home happy and well informed. Over the Christmas holiday, my dogs ear blew up like a balloon with an ear hematoma. Not knowing what to do, I called a friend of mine who works for Dr. Privette. She immediately got in touch with Dr. Privette and he and his staff were able to bring my baby some relief through the holidays and scheduled her for surgery first thing Monday morning. Dr. Privette and his wonderful vet techs Jessica and Carrie took great care of my sweet baby before, during, and after surgery. My puppers is on her way to a full recovery and our hearts are full knowing we have found a vet that deeply cares about our animals. The vet sat and explained what was wrong with my dog and explained what he planned to get the results. Very professional and staff was friendly. He showed interest in my pet.
