Dr. Privette and the entire team at Copper Point provided exceptional care for my 16-year-old cat, Maddie, after she was diagnosed with oral cancer. From her diagnosis, to surgery, to palliative care in her final weeks, they did everything they could to keep her comfortable and cared for. They were compassionate, thorough, and always treated her like family.

The kindness they showed me meant just as much. When I had to leave Maddie for surgery, the front desk staff noticed I was crying and even gave me a travel pack of tissues, a small gesture that meant so much in that moment. After Maddie passed, the entire office sent a heartfelt sympathy card signed by the whole team.

I will always be grateful for the compassion, support, and exceptional care they gave both Maddie and me during one of the hardest times of my life.

Dr Privet is amazing. We have had him look after our pets for the last 15 plus years. I could t even imagine going to anyone else. His staff is also amazing, super helpful, and always willing to give extra love and attention to the babies we bring in!

I want to start off by saying that we have been taking our dog Piti since he was 2 years old, he is about to turn 6 years old. This place has been amazing and treated me and my partner with respect. Although our dog is not easy to deal with, the doctor and technicians (specially Meghan) have always been great! I highly recommend this place for your pet’s needs.

We have been seeing Dr. Privette for many years and he’s taken care of all of our pets-past and present. He is so knowledgeable and really cares about all his patients. Everyone from the front desk to the back are all fantastic and his wife Linda who is so sweet. They always make us feel so welcomed! We have referred multiple friends and all feel the same way. Not only do they help treat our pets they also do so much for the community. We are so grateful for Copper Point!

We’ve been bringing our pets to Dr. Privette for over 15 years, and when he opened Copper Point, even though it’s further from us, we never thought twice about following him there. We literally pass at least seven other animal hospitals / vets just to see him. He’s the only one we fully trust with the care of our pup and cats.

Over the years, he’s helped us through every kind of emergency and health issue, always with care and patience. He takes the time to talk with us about everything, no matter how small. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows.

One of the moments that meant so much to me was when one of our beloved cats passed away suddenly at an emergency clinic over the weekend, when Copper Point was closed. Dr. Privette took time to personally sit down with me a day later, and go over every piece of documentation from that clinic to help me understand what happened. This wasn’t something I paid for, or something he had to do. He just cared enough to help me find peace in an incredibly hard moment.

He’s also one of the only vets I’ve known who personally calls with test results and updates after procedures. That kind of follow-through is rare and means a lot. These conversations never feel rushed.

I’d also like to give big props to Linda. She is a steady, grounded presence at the clinic. She always takes time to speak with us when we see her, and we really respect her insight, straightforwardness and humor.

We’re so grateful to have a place like Copper Point and a vet like Dr. Privette. It’s rare to find this level of care, and we never take it for granted.

I would like to thank everyone at Copper Point on taking such great care of my Bailey. We adopted a "problem kitty" from Copper Point, that was returned several times by previous adoptees. Vivian was extremely skiddish and little on the wild side. Within three days, Vivian fell and broke her leg. Dr. Privette was AMAZING. He placed a rod in Vivian's leg to stabilize the break. She had the cutest little cast. Now several months later, you would never know she had such a devastating break. Vivian runs around the house, playing and jumping without so much as a limp or hobble. I am thankful everyday that Copper Point had the care, concern and compassion for our kitty!

I have had all 3 of my dogs in to see Dr. Alan and his staff and each visit was fantastic. I was greeted with a smile at the front door and only waited 5 minutes before going back to exam room. All of the techs were knowledgeable and comfortable working with my dogs. Dr. Alan was thorough and talked me through what was going on with my dogs. He has a very kind heart and it is clear that he is a true animal person. I highly recommend this practice!!

Best vet hospital around. I have tried a few locally and will only use copper Point from now on. The knowledge and the kind compassionate treatment of the animals and clients is outstanding. As a local business owner of a dog grooming business I feel extremely comfortable to recommend my clients to this practice. 10 out 10.

I have taken a while to write this review because I don’t like to jump to conclusions out of just one interaction. Feral cat patients are a touchy subject in many vet hospitals due to liability, and there was a very feral one In my neighborhood that was not doing well; it was older and injured. I called Copper Point Vet To see if they would accept it as a patient for an exam and I knew most likely it would end up as a possible euthanasia. I had just trapped it and when I called, they understood the urgency of the situation and my need of coming in right away. Even though they were booked, they told me to come right in. As soon as I walked in, I explained the cat had been hanging around for a few weeks and was having trouble eating and was not doing well and I wanted to get it sedated for an exam. The doctor was extremely compassionate with this cat. He was very gentle with her and made recommendations to not stress her out while getting her sedated. Her injury was not treatable because of her being a feral cat so I decided to euthanize her. The compassion with which both her and I were treated was impressive. Every visit after that has been just as compassionate, regardless of the pet or the situation. The entire staff is kind, gentle, and they make recommendations based on my pets’ best interest. They take the time to educate me regarding diagnostics and treatments as needed and you can tell they truly love animals and what they do. I feel very comfortable leaving my pets in their hands and knowing it’s going to be treated with care and compassion. I am truly fortunate to have such experienced and compassionate people on my speed dial!

One of the absolute best places. Owned by the kindest humans. We have taken many of our pets there. I can’t remember her name but the receptionist with the red hair is so sweet and friendly. Linda (Dr. Privettes wife), is the most amazing person. She, the staff, and Dr. Privette I have nothing but wonderful things to say about their practice and they truly care for animals as well the humans that take care of them. Just have to add another review as to how good Dr Privette and his staff are. They’re always polite and make sure that they get the correct information every time they are never rude and they take care of us every time we need one of our pets seen I wouldn’t wanna go to another vet in Orlando as long as he is around
I have gone to Dr Privette since 2004. He is one of the best vets in Orlando. I drive over an hour just to see him he has always been very good with my animals never done anything that was not authorized or I didn’t need done I wouldn’t change vets for the world, they are a great veterinary hospital and I will use them as long as I have animals

I adopted Kimmie in January of this year. Somehow a scarlet snake got into the house and she was trying to play with it. We found her playing with the snake yesterday in the hiuse. Today she is lethargic and doesn't want to eat. Please offer advice. I am so worried about her!!

I looked for a long time to find a vet and team that I trusted with my dogs and finally found it at Copper Point veterinary hospital! You can tell that the entire team loves animals as soon as you’re greeted in reception. The clinic staff works quickly to get my dogs weighed and in a room, which is really appreciated. (Dr Privette and team will always make accommodations to see multiple animals at once for your convenience.) On a recent annual visit for both of my dogs I found out that most of the team is planning on formal animal training (vet tech, veterinarian, etc) which further explains their care and interest in the animals. I’ve always been so impressed by the depth of knowledge everyone on the entire team has about animals. Dr Privette is very good at reading the animals and always puts my nervous dogs at ease. The office has always provided options and cost breakdowns for me before we make any treatment decisions, which I also appreciate. I have never felt that a lab or treatment was recommended that wasn’t necessary. When I’ve had to had ‘bigger’ procedures for my animals, I knew they were in good hands with the clinic teams at Copper Point. Recently, one of my dogs had to have surgery to remove a mass. I was given a very accurate and fair quote the week prior. The day of, I got clear communication about the surgery schedule and when to expect a call. I got a call from Dr Privette with an update and very clear pick up and care instructions. They also wrote all this out very clearly so I never felt like I didn’t know what to do after surgery. The team followed up the next day and promptly refilled a medicine I thought I needed more of to get my dog through the weekend. I can not say enough good things about this office, the team and the care they have provided for my dogs over the last few years!

Unbelievable experience. From the time I came rushing in the door because our pet had severe diarrhea on the way over to the moment Dr. Privette returned in the room to reassure us of the medications we were to take prior to leaving. I have had pets for 20 years, I am 52, and I have never had such a thorough exam of any of my pets or conversation regarding the same. The care, the knowledge from the front of the office to the back; over the top. We were referred due to a possible CCL tear for our Boston Terrier. Dr. Privette has over 30 years of knowledge and his front desk has been with him since the beginning and it shows. I will never go anywhere else unless I move and I may travel after that. 10/10 highly recommend.

Dr. Privette and his staff took such great care of Lucy. She had a traumatic leg injury and he saved her leg from amputation with a very successful surgery. With such great care, Lucy doesn't even have a limp and runs freely all over our property. I would highly recommend Copper Point.

Copper Point is a wonderful vet clinic and Dr. Privette is an incredible vet! I have been taking my pets to him for 14 years. We followed him from his previous clinic. He always takes time to talk to and listen to the owner about concerns. Dr. Privette truly cares about the animals and their well being. We recently had our 14 yr old dog dislocate a hip while I was out of town. My husband had taken her to an emergency vet, who without empathy, told him she would need to have surgery or be put down, but they couldn’t do the surgery there so we should talk to our vet in the morning if he didn’t want to put her down right then. Distraught I called Copper Point in the morning and without hesitation they told us to bring her in and they would work her in. They had received and looked over the X-rays already taken. Dr. Privette told my husband him and his team should be able to get it back in without surgery. He also took the time to go over the X-rays and explain which way her hip dislocated and what that meant. He took the time to talk it through and explain what it all meant and the risks that still existed. When he called with the update we both finally exhaled for the first time in 24hrs. He had been able to put it back in place and went through the process with us. When it came to her treatment afterward his whole team was supportive and helpful to her and us. They answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. There is no Vet Clinic and team that I trust more with my pets. I drive over an hour to go to this clinic because I know the care they provide is unrivaled
